Some institutions and business networks associated with illicit activities like online gaming were reportedly involved, generating funds. 

These illicit activities led to the closure of some entities associated with Paytm a year ago. 

FIU-India, established by the Indian government on November 18, 2004, is an independent body reporting to the Economic Intelligence Council (EIC), headed by the Finance Minister. 

FIU-India's responsibilities include monitoring suspected financial transactions and coordinating investigations at national and international levels. 

It takes action against money laundering and related offenses, collaborating with national and international agencies. 

Paytm Communication Limited disclosed information during exchange filing, indicating upcoming changes in leadership for Paytm and Paytm Payment Bank. 

This suggests the process for appointing a new chairman for Paytm and Paytm Payment Bank will commence soon. 

The disclosure implies that Paytm Communication Limited, formerly known as 197 Communication Limited, is undergoing significant corporate restructuring.
